| Chiswick lifeboat is the second busiest RNLI station after Tower Pier. In terms of the number of people rescued it is the busiest. The huge variety of shouts include vessels sunk, vessels broken down, people cut off by the tide, people jumping off bridges and animals in distress: usually dogs but one swan. | |||||||
