Station History

Chiswick is one of four RNLI lifeboat stations on the Thames which became operational in  2002, following the inquiries into the sinking of the pleasure cruiser, The Marchioness.

Operations

The lifeboat has a mix of full time and volunteer crew.  There is close cooperation with the other emergency services in London.

Fundraising

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED........................

Chiswick RNLI Branch provides a link between Chiswick's lifeboat and the local community. In its first year local supporters have raised over £3,000 and are set to exceed this in 2006. The branch welcomes new members. Other Events and contact details are in the branch Newsletter.
